Activity Introduce what a character, setting, and main details are. listen to story online. Review who the character is and come up with words describing him and enter responses on Wordle. Create own character using Pinterest template.

Students will chose their favorite character (Pete the Cat, Chester, or Caterpillar) and write their own short story about it. They will create their own setting and main events (at least 2).
Students will turn their writing into a Pixie creation. They will "create" pictures for their stories and voice over their pictures reading from their stories.
Assessment observation: who has the knowledge already, and who is going to need support. observation/participation: who is understanding what a character is, and who will need one on one support.
